Maintenance and Warranty Period

We will warranty any defects in workmanship for 1 year from full payment of final invoice. This covers installation errors only. Fence materials will change appearance, dimension and shape due to the process of ageing and exposure to the elements. Wood fence materials are subject to a certain degree of warping and cracking particularly if not painted, stained or the like. Defects to the fence and fence hardware caused by these natural changes to the materials are specifically excluded from this warranty. Also excluded are damage as a result of vandalism, climbing, vegetation, vehicular damage, swinging on gates, letting gates swing in the wind and normal wear and tear.  Natural changes to materials include those caused by ground movement due to climatic variations, soil type, water run off, flooding etc.

All types of metal fences come with specific warranty on manufacture and materials dependent on the manufacturer. It is important to retain your ‘paid in full’ invoice so that we can advise which manufacturer to make contact with to avail yourself of their specific warranty service.

If work is required to be completed outside the warranty period or the conditions of the warranty: We would be pleased to attend to assess and repair any damage for a standard call-out fee.
